Job Description

Job Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing business opportunities, acquiring new renovation projects, and managing client relationships from initial enquiry through project completion. The role involves meeting prospective clients, understanding their renovation requirements, preparing quotations, negotiating contracts, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Client AcquisitionIdentify and develop new business opportunities in the renovation and interior fit-out industry.Source and approach potential clients through networking, referrals, site visits, online platforms, and marketing campaigns.Build and maintain long-term relationships with property owners, tenants, business operators, and commercial clients.Promote the company's renovation services and generate sales leads.
  2. Client Consultation & Project NegotiationMeet with prospective clients to understand their renovation requirements, project objectives, budget, and timeline.Conduct site visits and gather project information for proposal preparation.Present renovation solutions and recommend suitable materials, layouts, and construction methods.Prepare and explain quotations, project scopes, and contractual terms.Negotiate pricing, project schedules, and contract conditions with clients.Secure project confirmation and execute renovation contracts.
  3. Project CoordinationAct as the primary point of contact between clients and the project team.Coordinate with designers, project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients.Attend site meetings and resolve project-related issues when required.Ensure client requirements are properly communicated and implemented throughout the project.
  4. Contract Administration & DocumentationPrepare quotations, invoices, variation orders, and project-related documentation.Follow up on contract approvals, payment schedules, and project milestones.Ensure all project records and client communications are properly maintained.
  5. Customer Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with existing clients and generate repeat business opportunities.Address client concerns and provide prompt solutions throughout the renovation process.Conduct post-project follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and obtain referrals.
  6. Market Research & StrategyMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.Develop marketing strategies to enhance company visibility and business growth.Participate in exhibitions, networking events, and business development activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Building Management, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in renovation, interior fit-out, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand renovation drawings, project specifications, and construction processes.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project documentation.
