POSITION SUMMARY
The key mission of the Marketing Manager is to plan and execute the most relevant and efficient field marketing initiatives for South West Asia in order to meet overall company objectives. The main focus is to support with marketing activities the development of new growth areas beyond Lectra's main Fashion/Automotive activities. The main goals are to increase awareness among sales pre-defined targeted fashion manufacturers, create a Lectra strategy-conform brand image, drive demand and lead generation, and provide support to accelerate the sales cycle. Through increased efficiency of market development, sales, and field marketing activities, the Marketing Manager supports upsell and cross-sell within existing customers and acquisition of new customers. He/she is accountable for analyzing the market, defining the vision and marketing plan, and ensuring excellent operational execution and marketing performance. He/she understands the fashion market, customizes campaigns and activities provided by the corporate marketing team, and creates own activities and events according to the region's potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adapt the global Lectra marketing strategy to the India market segment, aligning with corporate and local objectives to maximize market relevance and impact
  • Collaborate closely with Channel partners in South West Asia to guide and manage channel marketing activities that drive regional growth
  • Support market analysis by partnering with the Marketing Intelligence Manager to deliver actionable market insights
  • Develop, monitor, and execute the yearly marketing plan, adjusting strategies dynamically to respond to market changes and opportunities
  • Lead solution launches for new software and hardware versions, coordinating internal and external communications, prospect targeting, and performance tracking
  • Drive and coordinate Lectra's marketing campaigns, aligning with Sales activities to optimize efficiency and support growth ambitions
  • Define and measure campaign results against KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and accountability
  • Conduct prospect research aligned with new solution launches to expand the customer base
  • Manage marketing communication activities in alignment with Corporate Marketing, local Management, Sales, and Professional Service teams to maintain brand consistency and effectiveness
  • Support pipeline analysis with sales teams to design targeted marketing actions that accelerate sales cycles
  • Localize and publish corporate marketing materials tailored to the buyer journey and marketing funnel stages
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns that generate demand and enhance brand visibility
  • Manage and optimize lead generation campaigns, measuring inbound and outbound results and qualifying leads for sales follow-up
  • Define, manage, and execute both owned and third-party events to increase brand presence and customer engagement
  • Oversee PR-related activities to enhance Lectra's reputation and media presence in the region
  • Develop and promote success stories in the fashion and apparel segment to showcase customer value and solutions impact
  • Manage relationships with agencies, universities, associations, and federations to leverage partnerships for marketing advantage
  • Administer the segment marketing budget to ensure cost-effective use of resources and maximize ROI
  • Collaborate closely with Lectra Headquarters to exchange best practices and receive support for regional initiatives
  • Maintain effective internal communication to keep all relevant regional departments informed of marketing objectives and activities

PROFILE
The ideal candidate:

  • Channel marketing experience
  • Have an experience of 8 years minimum in leading marketing activities for an international company
  • Have a degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field from an accredited college or university
  • Have the ability to work both independently and as part of an integrated sales and corporate team
  • Have the flexibility to work with a very hands-on and operational approach but also at a more strategic level
  • Is liable and experienced in planning and executing marketing plans
  • Is creative and innovative
  • Can work under time sensitive conditions and demonstrates strict adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Must have high propensity to learn
  • Can work with stakeholders in multiple countries and is a real team player
  • Has strong communication, presenting and networking skills
  • Has Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Knows Salesforce & Marketo
  • Can stand up and speak with authority at events
  • Native language of Hindi. Fluent English is mandatory.
  • Understand India Culture and be able to communicate, collaborate in the right manner.

TRAVEL
The job is based in Singapore with moderate travel across South West Asia, primarily in India.
