About us

Karpenko Gymnastics Academy (KGA) is Singapore's leading recreational and high performance gymnastics academy offering programs for kids from the age of 2 up to senior competitive high performance rhythmic gymnastics. We have recently branched out to launch our first overseas gym in Phuket, Thailand. Founded by Head Coach, Victoria Karpenko, KGA uses her system of gymnastics developed during her 30 year career in competing and coaching at the Olympic level to train and develop gymnasts to compete around the world. We are now building a network of gyms and our brand to bring this beautiful sport to as many as possible in the region. This role is based in the Orchard area.

Your role

As the Marketing Manager, you will spearhead all our marketing efforts and branding activities. You will be fully responsible to develop, drive and lead marketing campaigns from idea to implementation to reinforce. We aim to offer an exceptional customer experience and best in class products to our clients and your goal is to grow the awareness of our products while positioning KGA as the go-to destination for children's gymnastics and related products.

We are looking for someone who can learn our business and understand what our consumers want, then translate these insights into creative marketing ideas to drive commercial success. You will need to be equally creative in your concepts and possess an ability to execute these concepts. You will be working closely with the leadership team to drive the companies results.


Your main responsibility is to lead the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, including:

. Develop marketing campaign ideas, objectives, budgets and execution calendar.

. Conduct brand building activities such as events, PR and social media.

. Maintain constant brand presence across all key channels and consumer touch points.

. Track and monitor brand and competitor activities and performance metrics.

. Track and monitor campaign performance metrics

. Develop and manage brand and marketing assets.

. Manage external relationships with freelancers and other creative support

. Drive traffic to KGA platforms

. Drive customer loyalty and retention

Growth and future

Success in this role means through your efforts, there is a visible growing and constant exposure of KGA classes in the marketplace that leads to increased interest, awareness and eventually website traffic, sales conversions and customer retention. As we develop our business, you will have the opportunity to branch into new revenue streams, build your portfolio and earn more as the business grows.


We value proven track record, demonstrated abilities and a good fit more than paper qualifications, but ideally you should have:

. Experience in marketing retail or consumer brands products and services

. Proven track record and portfolio of creating and executing marketing campaigns that stand out

. Creative yet pragmatic in developing and driving marketing campaigns with masterful project and task management abilities

. Adept at working in a small company and lean team environment with minimal supporting structure and supervision

. Skilled in building rapport with teammates as well as external partners
