About The Role

Finmo is building the treasury and payments layer that finance teams actually want to use. Our buyers are business owners, CFOs, treasurers, and finance leaders in mid-market companies across the globe in FIs and corporations.

This role requires events and partner marketing to be driven by commercial judgement rather than a calendar. You will design and run a strategic events programme across the globe, own co-marketing across our partner ecosystem, and build content, themes and hooks that earn attention to create impact meetings. The objective for all three is the same: growth, opportunities, pipeline and deals. We do not participate for the sake of participating.

It is an individual contributor, hands-on role. You will build the event, write the invitation, negotiate the sponsorship, curate the guest list, plan with partners, run vox pops, build user list, and chase the follow-up. You will conceptualize and execute. Performance, ownership, accountability, attention to details would be second nature to you.

What Success Looks Like

Owns tangible metrics and delivery

  • Audience precision determines event quality. Presence of targeted ICPs and personas.
  • Pipeline and conversion from events. Qualified meetings booked and opportunities created per event, and cost per opportunity by event.
  • Impact meetings. The primary measure. Meetings with the right person at the right account, with a real business conversation and a next step.
  • Segment /account entry through partners. Effectiveness of co-marketing activities to gain access to desired segments and targeted accounts
  • Content that earns attention. watch-through and engagement on video, and the share of content that leads to a conversation — inbound replies, event registrations, meeting requests. Not follower counts.
  • Content velocity. a sustained publishing cadence you can hold without external agencies. Volume matters here because short-form video only compounds with repetition.

What You'll Own

Growth marketing through events and partners

  • Own end to end events management: selection, budget, negotiation, logistics, on-site execution and follow-up across APAC, the UAE and Europe.
  • Design formats to purpose: ABM, vertical, persona, partner co-events, referral partner recruitment, roundtables, dinners, webinars, meetups
  • Create event themes and hooks with enough cut through to make hard-to-reach finance leaders want to attend.
  • Develop creative mechanics to increase rate of engagement and create impact meetings during events.
  • Author the event construct: premise, agenda, session formats, speaker curation and attendee takeaway.
  • Curate the audience: build target lists, secure user lists, own invitations, chase RSVPs and manage no-show risk.
  • Negotiate organisers and vendors for value beyond price: curated audience access, matchmaking, speaking slots, hosted invitations.
  • Own leads and pipeline conversion follow-ups across events and partner marketing with Business Development and Sales teams

Content, video and vox pop

  • Own a consistent short-form video and content cadence across LinkedIn and our owned channels. This is the engine, not a side project.
  • Run vox pops internally and in conferences and events – quick, unscripted, genuinely interesting questions put to founders, executives, employees, attendees, speakers, partners and customers to produce a cadence of quirky content
  • Self-direct, leads interviews, and shoot content with high accountability of content quality and speed-to-post
  • Turn every event into a content pipeline: pre-event teasers, live capture, and post-event clips and written recaps.
  • Write the copy around the content – posts, landing pages, captions, hooks, event invitations and follow-ups.
  • Build and maintain a repeatable content system: a running idea backlog, a shot list template, a publishing calendar and an asset library, so output does not depend on inspiration.

Must-have Experience

  • 4–7 years in B2B marketing with demonstrable experience in driving growth through events, partner marketing and content
  • Experience marketing to finance buyers (CFOs, treasurers, controllers) in payments, treasury, fintech or B2B SaaS.
  • Experience running events across multiple countries and cultures in APAC or globally.
  • A demonstrable knack for themes and hooks. You can show us event concepts you invented that made a hard-to-reach audience turn up, and explain why they worked.
  • Hands-on in doing vox pop interviews, resourceful in doing self-productions, not working through agencies. Comfortable and quick on camera and with a microphone in your hand in a room full of strangers. This is a genuine requirement, not a nice-to-have.
  • Strong writing, especially short-form: hooks, captions, invitations and posts that sound like a person.
  • Hands-on in web and social media posting. Working HubSpot skills across landing pages, forms, emails, lists and campaign tracking.

Excellent organisation and attention to detail. Events are unforgiving — shipping deadlines, badge lists, AV requirements and follow-up windows all have to land.
