Job Description

Job Summary:

Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to strengthen brand awareness, build company reputation, drive sales of various channels and to strengthen relationships and connections with customers and various stakeholders. The role focuses on B2B and B2C marketing, product positioning, trade promotions, digital marketing, customer engagement, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Brand Management

  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Build and strengthen brand awareness for company product lines.
  • Plan and execute product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal marketing activities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences within the food industry.
  • Manage brand positioning and ensure consistent corporate identity across all channels.

Sales & Trade Marketing Support

  • Work closely with the sales team to support supermarkets, wholesalers, distributors, HORECA, and retail customers.
  • Develop trade promotions, POS materials, catalogues, and sales presentations.
  • Organize and participate in-store promotions, trader events, trade exhibitions and external activities to promote company, brands and products.
  • Support pricing strategies and promotional planning to improve market competitiveness.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage company websites, social media platforms, and online campaigns.
  • Plan and optimize digital advertising, SEO, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Collaborate with e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces to increase online sales performance.
  • Track digital campaign effectiveness and customer engagement metrics.

Product & Market Development

  • Conduct market research into new product opportunities and consumer trends.
  • Work with procurement and production teams on product development and packaging concepts.
  • Identify new customer segments and business opportunities locally and regionally.
  • Gather customer feedback to improve product offerings and service quality.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Prepare and manage marketing budgets effectively.
  • Analyze marketing ROI, sales performance, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Generate monthly marketing reports and recommendations for management.
  • Ensure marketing activities comply with Singapore food advertising regulations.

Team Management & Coordination

  • Lead and supervise the marketing team.
  • Coordinate with operations, production, logistics, and sales departments to ensure smooth campaign execution.
  • Train and mentor team members on branding, marketing, and customer engagement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of marketing experience, preferably in food industry
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore food market and distribution channels.
  • Experience in digital marketing, trade marketing, and brand management.
  • Good analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, marketing tools, and social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of food industry regulations and food labeling requirements is an advantage.
