Job Description

The Marketing Intern will play an active role in supporting the marketing team by assisting with the execution of marketing campaigns, trade marketing initiatives, content creation, and digital marketing efforts. This role offers hands-on experience in digital and trade marketing, campaign management, and vendor collaboration, with a focus on fostering both professional and personal growth.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution Support: Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns to meet brand objectives.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging marketing collateral in line with brand guidelines for social media, emails, and web.
  • Trade Marketing Assistance: Support trade marketing activities such as in-store promotions, point-of-sale (POS) material creation, and execution of retail-focused campaigns.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors (agencies, printers, etc.) to ensure timely production of marketing materials.
  • Marketing Research & Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis, gather market insights, and support data collection for performance reports.
  • Digital Marketing Assistance: Update website content, manage social media channels, and assist with SEO/SEM efforts.
  • Project Management Support: Help in organizing and tracking project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general support to the marketing team, including documentation, scheduling, and organization.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Some experience with digital marketing tools and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Interest in the retail, parenting, or baby products industry.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Ability to think creatively and offer innovative ideas for campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Digital Proficiency: Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools, such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and Canva.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the marketing team and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive Learner: Willingness to take initiative and learn on the go in a fast-paced marketing environment.
