This role focuses on supporting the planning and execution of marketing initiatives across digital marketing, branding, exhibitions, and customer engagement activities. The incumbent will contribute marketing ideas, develop content and materials, and support campaign execution to strengthen the company's brand visibility and business growth.
The role also supports the organization and maintenance of marketing collateral and materials to ensure consistency, accessibility, and readiness for exhibitions, customer engagements, and business activities.
As part of a B2B industrial and technical manufacturing environment, the role requires willingness to understand technical products, applications, and customer industries in order to support effective marketing communication.
A smaller portion of the role includes providing basic coordination and administrative support to the sales team where required.
1. Marketing Strategy Support & Ideas Contribution
Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and customer engagement activities
Support alignment of marketing activities and messaging with company branding and business direction
Assist in translating management direction into practical marketing initiatives and content
Support internal communication of key marketing messages across departments and stakeholders
2. Digital Marketing & Content Execution
Assist in planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across social media, email marketing, and website platforms
Create and schedule content for social media platforms and marketing communications
Support development of brochures, presentations, product sheets, exhibition materials, and promotional content
Coordinate with external vendors, designers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials
Maintain and organize marketing materials, brochures, presentations, and digital assets to ensure proper version control, accessibility, and consistency across departments
Coordinate periodic review and updating of marketing collateral to support exhibitions, customer engagements, and business activities
Monitor social media engagement and support basic community interaction where applicable
3. Events & Exhibition Support
Support planning and coordination of exhibitions, trade shows, webinars, customer visits, and marketing events
Ensure timely preparation and readiness of marketing materials, brochures, banners, presentations, and promotional assets for exhibitions and events
Coordinate logistics and communications with internal stakeholders, vendors, and event organisers
Support post-event follow-up and documentation where required
4. Market, Product & Customer Insights Support
Conduct basic market research on industry trends, competitors, customer segments, and market activities
Develop basic understanding of company products, applications, and target industries to support effective marketing communication
Support translation of technical product information into customer-friendly marketing content and value propositions
Assist in analyzing marketing campaign performance, social media engagement, and related metrics
Support preparation of reports, insights, and recommendations for marketing improvements
5. Sales Coordination & Administrative Support
Provide basic coordination and administrative support to the sales team where required
Assist in maintaining customer databases and CRM records
Support preparation of sales presentations, customer materials, and related documentation
Coordinate internal follow-up for customer-related marketing activities when necessary
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications, or related roles
Experience in B2B, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technical-related industries is an advantage
Fresh graduates with relevant internship exposure in marketing may also be considered
Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Business Administration, or related field
Other Requirements:
Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
Familiarity with content creation and marketing coordination
Basic design capabilities using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite are an advantage
Comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment
Willingness to learn technical products, applications, and industrial market environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
