About the Role

We're looking for a creative, hands-on Marketing Executive who is able to thrive in our dynamic, fast-paced environment. If you're someone who can conceptualise, shoot, edit and execute engaging content and enjoys being on the ground, this role is for you.
You'll play a key role in shaping the voice and visual identity of our brands:
- fit . bloc (climbing and lifestyle gym)
- monowrk (climbing and lifestyle retail & e-commerce)
- boltsquare (climbing industry solutions)
This is a dual-role position that combines marketing execution with customer service operations, giving you real insight into our community and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Communications (Primary Focus)
- Conceptualise and execute social media campaigns for our brands
- Create short-form videos, reels and static content tailored to each brand
- Design marketing collaterals (digital & print) for events, retail and in-gym communications
- Plan and execute content calendars in alignment with the marketing roadmap
- Shoot and edit photos/videos for campaigns, launches, events and day-to-day content
- Develop engaging captions and platform-appropriate copy
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital and print touch points
- Track performance of posts and suggest optimisations
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to conceptualise campaigns
- Maintain familiarity with customer demographics to develop relevant content
- Organise and coordinate photoshoots for campaigns and launches
- Maintain organised project files and archives
Customer Experience & Operations (Secondary Focus)
We believe strong marketing starts on the ground. This role includes operational exposure to better understand our audience:
- Front desk responsibilities (welcoming and engaging our guests during the check-in process)
- Handling membership enquiries, bookings and retail purchases
- Supporting gym cleanliness and upkeep
Working hours for this position are on a shift basis, including rostered opening and closing shifts, weekends and public holidays where required. This is best for someone who is open to an active, dynamic on-the-ground role.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or higher in Visual Communications, Marketing or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing / social media marketing roles
- Strong proficiency in:Canva & CapCut (essential)Adobe Photoshop & IllustratorPremiere Pro / After Effects (a plus)
- Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other social media platforms
- Ability to analyse content performance and optimise for engagement growth
- Strong design eye and attention to detail
- Proactive, independent and strong sense of responsibility and ownership for your work
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Possess initiative to learn, pick up necessary skill sets and come up with great ideas!
- Interest in climbing or fitness is a bonus
