Job Description and Requirements of Programme Counsellor
The Marketing Executive (Intern) will support the Digital Manager with the day-to-day production of marketing content and materials for CAE.

This is a hands-on junior position suitable for students seeking practical marketing experience.

Advanced graphic-design or Photoshop skills are not required. Basic proficiency in Canva, a good visual sense and a willingness to learn are more important.

Reporting Lines:

This position reports directly to the Digital Marketing Manager. The incumbent's primary role is to assist the Digital Marketing to manage and develop strategies on the social media platforms, and on other marketing channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create simple, attractive and brand-consistent posters, banners, social media graphics and other marketing materials using Canva.
  • Prepare and adapt content for Instagram, Facebook, Xiaohongshu and LinkedIn.
  • Assist with content planning, captions, basic copy adaptation and the scheduling or coordination of social media posts.
  • Support the filming and basic editing of promotional videos, interviews, events and short-form social media content.
  • Resize and adapt creative materials for different programmes, campaigns, formats and digital platforms.
  • Coordinate briefs, timelines, feedback, revisions and deliverables with external marketing vendors under the Digital Manager's guidance.
  • Follow up with marketing vendors to ensure that materials are delivered according to the agreed requirements and timelines.
  • Organise marketing files, templates, photographs and video assets so that materials are easy for the team to locate and reuse.
  • Support school events, marketing campaigns and other promotional activities as required.
  • Perform other relevant marketing duties assigned by the Digital Manager.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in marketing, communications, media, design or a related field.
  • School internship arrangements may be considered.
  • Basic proficiency in Canva and a good sense of visual layout, consistency and social media presentation.
  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Xiaohongshu and LinkedIn.
  • Interest in current social media content formats and trends.
  • Basic ability to take photographs and record promotional videos using a mobile phone or camera.
  • Clear written communication and good attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple small deliverables and deadlines.
  • Proactive, organised, receptive to feedback and comfortable coordinating with internal colleagues and external vendors.
  • A small portfolio or examples of social media posts, posters, videos, school assignments or personal projects may be requested.
