We are seeking a proactive, organized and versatile Marketing Coordinator to join our team. You'll play a hands-on role in supporting the team to ensure the smooth execution of marketing initiatives across the business. This dynamic role will provide you with exposure to a mix of administrative, operational, and creative responsibilities. While the primary focus will be on coordinating and supporting marketing activities, you'll also be required to generate basic creative work, such as adapting templates, creating simple graphics, and assisting with production of digital assets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mix of organizational and creative skills, who is eager to grow in a marketing environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing Coordination
Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials and services.
Manage the team's project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed efficiently.
Support the team in preparing reports, presentations, and campaign performance summaries.
Support the execution of email marketing campaigns, including set-up, testing, and scheduling of emails.
Creative Support
Create and adapt marketing materials for campaigns and events, such as social media graphics, email banners, and PowerPoint templates, using existing brand templates.
Assist with basic design tasks, such as resizing images, updating layouts, and editing content.
Collaborate with the team to ensure creative assets align with campaign goals and brand guidelines.
Administrative and Logistical Support
Assist with procurement processes, including obtaining quotes, raising purchase orders, and tracking invoices.
Provide logistical support for events, webinars, and other marketing activities, including coordinating materials, registrations, and follow-ups.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
1-2 years of experience in a marketing or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Basic design skills and familiarity with creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or Canva
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of latest trends, social media platforms and design tools
Self-driven, motivated, enthusiastic and confident
Committed to excellence and teamwork
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in insurance or financial services industry a plus
