Job Summary: lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies to support the Academy's research, education, and outreach initiatives. This role is responsible for managing digital platforms, driving audience engagement, supporting participant recruitment for clinical studies, and strengthening the Academy's brand presence across academic, industry, and public audiences.
Job Scope:
Website Management & Digital Presence
- Oversee and manage multiple Academy websites, including corporate, conference, and research study platforms
- Design and maintain website structure, content, and user experience
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve visibility and reach
- Monitor website performance and optimise content based on analytics
- Ensure all content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow the Academy's social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
- Plan and execute content calendars with frequent, high-quality posts
- Create engaging visual and written content, including videos and short-form formats
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners on collaborative content
- Track performance metrics and optimise campaigns to improve engagement and conversion
CRM & Audience Engagement
- Manage and maintain the Academy's CRM database
- Segment audiences and develop targeted engagement strategies across stakeholder groups (e.g. donors, industry partners, students, research participants, alumni)
- Build and execute personalised communication journeys to enhance engagement and retention
Email Marketing
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns aligned with strategic objectives
- Produce regular newsletters and targeted communications
- Design and optimise email content for engagement and clarity
- Monitor campaign performance and refine strategies accordingly
Event Marketing & Support
- Lead marketing efforts for conferences, courses, and public engagement events
- Develop event branding, key visuals, and promotional materials
- Support ticketing and audience acquisition strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams on event planning and execution
Research Participant Recruitment
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to support recruitment for clinical studies
- Create targeted campaigns across digital and offline channels
- Build partnerships with community organisations and external stakeholders to support outreach
- Produce recruitment materials including visuals, videos, and informational content
Media & Communications
- Support media engagement and publicity efforts for the Academy and its leadership
- Coordinate media requests, interviews, and speaking opportunities
- Develop press materials and liaise with media outlets
- Identify opportunities to strengthen the Academy's visibility in relevant media channels
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital engagement
- Skills in content creation (visual, written, and video)
- Experience in website management (CMS platforms, SEO, analytics tools)
- Familiarity with CRM systems and email marketing platforms
- Experience in healthcare, research, or academic environments is good to have
- Design: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
- Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut
- Prototyping & Design Tools: Figma (working knowledge)
- Website Development: Durable, Framer
- CRM & Email Marketing: Mailchimp
- Social Media Management & Analytics: Metricool, Meta Ads
Additional Information:
- Salary - S$4500 per month
- Contract duration: 6-month contract, renewable and convertible
- Working days and hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Location: Kent Ridge MRT
