The azbil Group pursues human-centered automation as its core initiative for the purpose of contributing to people's safety, comfort, and fulfillment. Azbil is expanding its businesses in the areas of building automation, advanced automation for factories and plants, and life automation for essential services and people's health and well-being. To further the company's growth, it is also expanding actively in overseas markets and is looking for a Marketing & Business Development Specialist for the Building Automation business line to join our team. You will work closely with our management team and will be responsible for growing our business in the APAC and India region.
Responsibilities
. Supports the Senior Manager and Sales & Marketing Manager to serve as a strategic liaison between our key customers and company to establish strong and sustainable relationships and build a structured sales foundation for Building Automation Solutions in the Southeast Asia and India region.
. Identify new business opportunities and develops account strategies and action plans to drive business growth.
. Collaborates with company's affiliate sales teams to provide pre-sales product and technical support, including engaging with customers, preparation of project-specific proposals, conducting clarification meetings, supporting 3rd party events.
. Analyzes and uncovers customer value drivers and to effectively communicates the company's value proposition and assists in the development of comprehensive sales toolkit to support sales efforts.
. Identifies and engages customer's decision-makers and influence their buying decision criteria to align with the company's solutions and offerings.
. Gathers customer requirements data and collaborates with Solution Specialists to create tailored customer proposals that meet their specific requirements
. Promotes collaboration and experience sharing among the company's affiliates in the region
. Identifies industry trends, collects and assesses competitive and market intelligence to develop plans for the product portfolio and define key milestones and growth strategies.
. Participates and supports brand building activities e.g.: tradeshows, industry marketing seminars and strategic account programs, to enhance company's visibility and market presence.
Requirements
. A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred experience in lieu of a degree will be considered for the right candidate.
. Minimum 10 years of experience in a technical sales or business development, with expertise in BMS and Automation products.
. Good industry knowledge, with a well-established network of professional contacts.
. Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
. Fluency in English and Japanese, both written and spoken, is required to communicate with HQ in Japan and support regional business operations and customer engagement.
