Establish and streamline processes for day-to-day marketing operations to ensure efficient execution of campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
Develop and implement marketing strategies, campaigns, and mall activations to drive shopper traffic (locals and tourists), increase tenant sales, and strengthen the mall's brand positioning, including post-campaign analysis and performance review.
Plan, coordinate, and secure tenants participation for mall-wide promotions, joint collaborations, and festive campaigns to enhance overall mall performance.
Work closely with tenants to support their marketing initiatives, store openings, sales promotions, and brand exposure within the mall.
Liaise and manage advertising agencies, media partners, contractors, and event companies for campaign execution, marketing collaterals, and promotional setups.
Collaborate with leasing and external partner to build up the pipelines in order to lease out atrium space, advertising panels and other causal leasing income to maximize space utilization and revenue.
Manage and monitor casual leasing revenue, including planning of leasing calendar, tracking performance against budget, and ensuring compliance with approved rates and SOP.
Plan and control marketing expenditure budget, ensuring effective cost management and optimal return on investment for all campaigns and events.
Monitor monthly revenue and expenses, prepare budget forecasts, variance reports, and provide regular updates to management.
Strengthen the mall's branding and market positioning through integrated marketing campaigns across offline, digital, and social media platforms.
Develop and maintain strong presence across social media channels and digital platforms, integrating online engagement with on-ground events and promotions.
Keep abreast of latest marketing trends, retail concepts, and technologies to identify new opportunities to enhance shopper experience and mall performance.
Proactively track campaign ROI, analyse performance data, derive actionable insights, and implement improvements including A/B testing and optimization of marketing initiatives.
Provide recommendations on best practices, new concepts, and innovative ideas to enhance marketing effectiveness and tenant engagement.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing activities, casual leasing performance, budget utilization, and campaign results.
Work closely with Operations, Leasing and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution of mall initiatives and events.
Support management in repositioning, branding initiatives, AEI projects, and tenant mix enhancement where required.
Supervise and guide marketing executive(s) where applicable, ensuring proper workflow, reporting, and compliance with internal processes.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Retail & International marketing and communications, with proven experience in branding, casual leasing, budgeting, and tenant engagement. Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Highly organised, resourceful, and able to work under tight timelines with strong problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with excellent written and verbal proficiency.
