Market Risk Officer

We are representing a reputable oil & gas trading firm in Singapore that is expanding its Middle Office team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong numerical background who are keen to build their career in energy trading risk management.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining records for physical trades and hedging derivatives, managing P&L and market risk exposure, and reconciling futures hedge positions and margin calls. You will also oversee credit risk and internal compliance matters, prepare regular reports for management, and support system improvements for the ETRM platform.

What we are looking for:

You should hold a degree in Economics, Finance, Maritime Studies or a related discipline, with 23 years of experience in an oil & gas trading environment. Strong analytical and logical thinking skills are essential, along with good communication ability. You should be comfortable working independently while also functioning well within a team.
