This job will cover both Market Risk Management and Private Wealth Credit Admin, giving the potential candidate a wide range of exposure.Job Description
- Take charge of the Market risk management of the Branch, by monitoring market risk position to be within the limits, overseeing the risk management framework and ensuring the risk management practices complying with internal guidelines and external regulations.
- Update the daily market risk reporting as well as prepare monthly ALCO meeting materials by utilizing the internal system/platform, and conduct stress testing on market risk position monthly.
- Preparation to verification of Lombard lending Facility Letter and other credit-related documents, ensuring the approved terms and conditions are correctly stated in facility letter. Grant facility and handle collateral set up and cancellation/release in system. Maintain proper safekeeping of credit file and documentation.
- Monitor Lombard lending facility account's exposure and collateral value on the Avaloq system. Prepare the daily report generated from system, and manage daily margin call and limit excesses in case of needed.
- Prepare and submit recommendation on Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio for specific product types of any exceptional request in accordance with LTV framework.
- Liaise with respective teams in the branch, related departments in Head Office, auditors (internal and external), regulator, and respond to queries. Liaise with internal & external legal counsel on foreign Legal Opinions and registration of security charge.
- Prepare MAS reports and other MIS reports as required.
- Perform testing on system enhancement.
Job Requirement
- Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Market risk management with good knowledge in Private Wealth Credit Admin.
- Good communication and organization skills, with the ability to interact with our Head Office colleagues in Taiwan.
