About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Market Research Analyst to support our commercial and business development activities in the global biosimilars market. This role sits at the intersection of market intelligence, strategy, and execution, providing critical insights to guide pipeline prioritization, partner selection, and commercialization strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong life sciences background, combined with business acumen in market analysis, finance, and deal support.

Key Responsibilities

Market Intelligence & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the global biosimilars market, including market size, growth trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics

  • Track and evaluate competitor pipelines, product positioning, and commercialization strategies

  • Analyze pricing trends, reimbursement environments, and access dynamics across key markets (EU, US, APAC, etc.)

  • Develop market models and forecasts to support internal decision-making

Business Development Support

  • Identify and evaluate potential co-development, licensing, and commercialization partners globally

  • Support business development initiatives by preparing market reports, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity assessments

  • Respond to inbound business inquiries (LinkedIn, email, etc.) in a timely and professional manner

  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and financial summaries for management discussions

Partner & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Interface with regional sales and commercialization partners to gather market insights and validate assumptions

  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams to gather input on capabilities, pipeline progress, and operational strengths to support company-level strategic assessments, including SWOT analysis, competitive positioning, and differentiation.

Data Room & Documentation Management

  • Populate and maintain virtual data rooms for due diligence and partnership discussions

  • Ensure accuracy, organization, and timely updating of key documents and datasets

Events & Meetings Coordination

  • Support planning and coordination of meetings with partners at trade shows and industry conferences

  • Assist in scheduling, preparation of materials, and follow-up actions from meetings

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or related field)

  • 3-6 years of experience in market research, consulting, business development, or commercial roles within the biopharma industry

  • Prior exposure to biosimilars or biologics is highly preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights

  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical markets, pricing, and reimbursement mechanisms

  • Basic financial literacy (e.g., understanding of revenue models, pricing strategies, and deal structures)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data analysis tools

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience supporting licensing or partnership deals

  • Hands-on experience with industry databases such as GlobalData, IQVIA, or similar

  • Familiarity with regulatory pathways for biosimilars (EMA, FDA, etc.)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proactive, resourceful, and collaborative mindset
