Overview
Our client is seeking a Research Analyst with strong knowledge of semiconductor and storage technologies, particularly SSD and HDD, to support strategic research and market intelligence initiatives.
This role will focus on industry analysis, competitive intelligence, and technology trend monitoring, providing insights that help leadership stay informed about developments across the semiconductor and data storage ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct industry and market research across the semiconductor and data storage sectors (SSD, HDD, NAND, memory technologies).
- Perform competitive intelligence and benchmarking on key industry players, technologies, and product roadmaps.
- Track and analyze emerging technology trends including AI infrastructure, storage architecture, and semiconductor innovation.
- Perform fact-checking and validation of industry information, technical claims, and market data from multiple sources.
- Prepare research reports, presentation materials, and pitch decks summarizing key insights for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor technology announcements, earnings reports, patents, and industry developments to keep leadership updated.
- Translate complex technical information into clear and actionable insights for business and strategic decision-making.
- Support ad-hoc deep-dive analysis on specific companies, technologies, or industry segments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Prior experience in industry research, market intelligence, competitive analysis, or technology strategy.
- Strong understanding of data storage technologies such as SSD, HDD, NAND, and related semiconductor components.
- Ability to analyze technical trends and industry developments within the semiconductor ecosystem.
- Experience preparing research reports, executive summaries, and presentation decks.
- Strong analytical thinking and fact-checking capability with attention to detail.
