Job Purpose

.A Bunker Surveyor is responsible for inspecting, measuring, and documenting the quantity and quality of bunker fuel loaded onto ships, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Accountabilities
.Fuel Quantity Measurement: Accurately measure the quantity of bunker fuel loaded onto vessels using specialized equipment and methods.
.Quality Assessment: Inspect and sample bunker fuel to assess its quality, including parameters such as viscosity, density, sulfur content, and water content.
.Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of bunker survey findings, including quantity calculations and quality assessments.
.Sampling: Collect representative samples of bunker fuel for laboratory analysis when necessary.
.Compliance: Ensure that bunker operations comply with international standards, local regulations, and contractual agreements.
.Communication: Maintain effective communication with vessel crew, port authorities, and clients to coordinate bunker operations and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications
