We're looking for a
Marine Superintendent to oversee the safe and efficient operations of our product tankers. The role ensures vessels operate smoothly, remain compliant with international standards, and uphold the highest levels of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee vessel operations and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Plan and manage ISM, ISPS, MLC, and vetting inspections.
- Review and approve passage plans, and conduct navigation audits.
- Ensure vessels meet requirements from terminals, oil majors, and charterers.
- Liaise with Flag and Port State authorities.
- Keep Q88 and HVPQ data updated.
- Stay current with regulatory and industry changes.
- Support and train crew to maintain high performance and discipline.
- Participate in the company's emergency response team.
Requirements:
- Master Mariner (CoC Class 1/2) or at least 2 years of relevant shore experience with product/chemical tankers.
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proactive, professional, and team-oriented.
