Job Summary:
Hands-on marine service role supporting shipboard repairs, customer coordination, and technical reporting across local and overseas assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Board vessels to carry out repair and maintenance works on boilers, incinerators, ballast water treatment systems, and related equipment.
- Prepare and submit technical quotations to customers in a timely manner.
- Generate sales slips and maintain accurate service documentation.
- Report job progress, findings, and technical issues to the Chief Engineer.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide technical clarifications.
- Support on-site service activities, including overseas assignments, as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Marine.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a shipyard environment, marine industry, or marine vessel operations, including experience as ship crew.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, including overseas trips.
- Ability to work long hours and on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays when operationally required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in shipboard environments.
- Good communication and coordination skills for liaising with customers and internal stakeholders.
