- Perform MRO services, covering planning, troubleshooting, diagnosing, minor repair and complete overhaul of major OEM marine propulsion equipment
- Generate field service report with appropriate photos of before and after repair for the final report to client
- Perform commissioning of new gearbox involving yard, basin and sea trials
- Able to interpret electrical drawings and perform basic troubleshooting of faults on electrical system with minimum guidance
- Assist Workshop Manager to prepare parts quotation for Purchaser to procure spares to conduct repair and / or overhaul
- Conduct daily Tool Box meeting and ensure compliance with workplace safety and health practices
- Ad-hoc duties as required in the workshop
Requirements
- At least Diploma or higher in Mechanical Eng
- At least 3 years of exp in Marine Industry in propulsion
- Must be able to perform troubleshooting on propulsion related equipment with minimum guidance
- Require to travel overseas for assignment.
- Must be able to be deployed within short notice period
- Must possess good verbal and written English communication skills
