Marine Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines and mechanical systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting works
• Inspect engine components and hydraulic systems
• Carry out mechanical overhaul and repair works
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities
• Support workshop and on-site marine servicing operations
• Follow workplace safety and operational procedures
• Coordinate with suppliers, technicians, and operations team when required

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant marine mechanical experience
• Experience with marine engines, hydraulic systems, and repair works
• Ability to read technical manuals and engineering drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on technical skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior marine industry experience preferred
