Our client, a well-established international marine insurance brokerage, is looking to appoint a Marine Insurance Development Executive to support and expand its marine insurance business in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor developments and emerging opportunities within the global marine insurance and shipping markets.
- Design and structure customised insurance solutions tailored to the needs of marine and shipping clients.
- Drive business growth across Singapore and regional markets by leveraging professional networks and market relationships.
- Develop and maintain long-term client partnerships across cargo, hull & machinery, P&I, charterers liability, and related marine risks.
- Collaborate closely with local colleagues while engaging regularly with regional and headquarters teams.
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams and cross-selling opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insurance guidance to clients operating in the maritime sector.
Ideal Background:
- 3-5 years of experience in marine insurance, shipping, commodities trading, or a related industry.
- Solid knowledge of marine insurance products, existing industry connections are advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working independently to develop new opportunities.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with experience working across international team.
