Marine Fielded Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Attend onboard vessels (Singapore port, anchorage, and overseas when required)
• Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and repair of: ECDIS AIS / Radar / GPS / Gyro/GMDSS equipment
• Carry out system integration and interfacing between multiple brands
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults efficiently under time pressure
• Provide technical advice and support to ship crew and clients
• Prepare service reports, test reports, and documentation
• Liaise with makers, shipowners, and internal team for technical matters
• Ensure compliance with class and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Marine Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of navigation and communication systems onboard vessels
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Willing to:Attend vessels at short noticeWork at anchorage / shipyard / offshoreTravel overseas when required

Working Conditions

• Field-based role (onboard vessels, shipyards, terminals)
• Irregular working hours depending on vessel schedule
• Overtime and weekend work are required
