Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, measurements, installations, repairs, and overhauls in Singapore and across the region.
- Service and maintain mechanical components including couplings, shafts, mounts, brakes, backstops, and fluid couplings.
- Travel regionally and liaise closely with customers and the head office in Europe.
- Advise customers on appropriate service solutions in line with standard processes, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding needs and delivering specialist technical support.
- Coordinate and execute service projects, including planning, milestone tracking, and progress reviews.
- Schedule service jobs and coordinate activities within the service team.
- Prepare and submit visit reports and service reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain proper upkeep, organisation, and inventory control of the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Nitec in Marine, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- No experience is required candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply.
- Possession of a Class 3 driving licence (manual).
- Open to working in marine and industrial environments, including inspections, overhauls, repairs, and deliveries.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently on short notice and work overtime when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
- Experience in the marine sector involving diesel engines, gearboxes, and gensets is an added advantage.
- Experience or knowledge in using SAP systems is an added advantage.
