Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Marine Engineer / Port Operations Specialist / Freight Forwarding Coordinator, based in Singapore with flexibility for remote work. Responsibilities include overseeing marine and port operations, coordinating freight forwarding tasks, and managing maintenance and repair schedules for vessels. The candidate will also ensure compliance with all maritime regulations, support the development of effective operational strategies, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to optimize logistical processes.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge and experience in Navy and Marine Industry operations
• Proficiency in Marine Engineering and Maritime standards
• Capability in Maintenance & Repair of vessels
• Strong understanding of port operations and freight forwarding processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Familiarity with global shipping regulations and safety standards
• Relevant certifications and/or degrees in Marine or Maritime Engineering are an asset
