Job overview
We are looking for a reliable, self-assured marine service technician to perform maintenance, repairs and service on a variety vessel for our clients local and overseas.
As a part of the job role, you should be able to work on both, land and sea.
You will be required to be physically and mentally strong. Also, you should beable to work for long hours, strong self-discipline and should be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Responsibilities:.
- Carry out various repair and maintenance tasks as instructed by the team leader and engineers who you are assign to work at the job sites.
- Responsible and disciplined in handling, operating, and maintaining workshop tools and equipment. To be ready mobilized and deployed at any time,as required..
- Fill out accurate service records and repair documents as instructed by the team leader / engineers.
- Safety Compliance, Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulation including lockout / tagout procedures, while working on board vessels or outdoor environments.
Requirements:
- Ability to work for long hours and at both, land & Sea (Vessels).
- Ability to carry heavy loads,tools and equipments.
- Good physical dexterityand mental stamina.
- Willingness to learn andaccept constructive feedback.
- Detailed - oriented andhighly motivated individual.
- Good verbal and written communicationskills.
- Practical experiencewith tools/equipment used in Marine industry.
- Formal marine electricalknowledge is preferred.
- Willing to traveloverseas for assignments, as well as offshore and to shipyards to fulfill service job.
