Marine Claims & Survey Manager

To provide marine claims handling, consultancy and surveying services to underwriters, brokers and vessel Owners which will include collisions,property damage, cargo claims, pollution, salvage, and personal injury cases.

Independent handling, investigation and processing of marine insurance claims from first notification to final settlement.

Liaison with claimants, appointment of marine surveyors and other professionals worldwide,provide settlement and consultancy advice to clients.

Ensuring all claims are processed in a timely manner.

Keep insurers fully updated on developments of the claim and settlement negotiations.

Pursue recoveries associated with marine claims. Defend and negotiate liability settlements on behalf of clients.

To carry out marine casualty surveys on behalf of the Owners and Underwriters

Undertake anyother duties as may be assigned, including marketing.
