Job Description

The Marine Business Manager will establish and lead the marine and ship supply business segment, covering procurement structures, supplier partnerships, operations framework, and client development. The role focuses on building a structured and sustainable business unit within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships within the marine industry (e.g., shipyards, vessel operators, marine contractors)

• Manage quotations, tenders, and customer engagement

• Establish procurement channels and supplier partnerships

• Build supply chain workflows and operational processes

• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with marine industry requirements

• Support the development and growth of the business segment and team structure

Requirements

• Relevant experience in marine procurement, ship supply operations, or related marine industry functions

• Understanding of procurement cycles and supply chain processes

• Experience handling operational documentation and compliance requirements

• Ability to work independently and contribute to building structured business processes

• Strong coordination and communication skills

• Experience in supplier management or industry network development is advantageous
