Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers.
Test, calibrate, fine-tune, and troubleshoot complex analytical instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Meet the daily/Monthly output with acceptable quality.
Collaborate on developing methods and procedures to enhance manufacturing processes, improving cycle-time, yield, and unit cost.
Crosstrain in other manufacturing tasks to provide support as needed.
Strive for continuous improvement to ensure products meet customer expectations for performance, quality, and reliability.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Conduct routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) of equipment.
Qualifications
Higher education or Specialized training/certification. Nitec or Higher Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Biomedical/Biotech/Chemistry or a related field is acceptable for entry-level roles.
Diploma/Degree in Electronics with relevant experience in chemical preparation will also be considered.
Experience in working with analytical instruments preferably with Mass Spec background.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Basic understanding of chemical principles and safety protocols.
