Design, develop, test and implement specialized measurement/automation tools for 3D printer testing.
Manage and follow up closely on tool development and delivery with our assigned tool vendor according to program requirement.
Ensure deliverables according to quality and shipment requirements
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and QA teams.
Manage/train and collaborate with MPA tooling team counterparts.
Integration of measurement sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols according to HP recommendations.
Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ongoing support for such tools on site.
Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve tool design.
Create and maintain technical documentations, BOM, and system diagrams where applicable.
Explore AI/automation/robotics and create/implement projects in MPA with sound ROI
Explore/qualify alternate automation vendors for cheaper costs.
Develop proper documentations after tool buy off. Support NPI builds and occasional travel for design reviews and vendors sites for tool discussion and validation.
Provide technical DFX recommendations from tooling/Manufacturing POV during NPI , integrates tooling knowledge with product and product improvement phases
Education & Experience Recommended
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or any related field
4–6 years of experience in manufacturing environment with production tools and automation
Experience in measurement tools/automation tools development
