Manufacturing Supervisor

Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role.

Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.

Advanced skills in MS Office.

Organizational and leadership abilities.

Communication and interpersonal skills.

Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

Problem solving skills.

Assist the Production Manager in the day-to-day operations of the production lines.

Plans and coordinates the workflow on the production lines to achieve production targets according to agreed schedules and quality standards.

Draws up duty roster for operatives, allocating work and arranging replacements for absentees.

Troubleshoots production problems which may rise and assisting the Production Manager in planning new project work such as positioning of new production lines or machinery.

Trains, motivates and guides subordinates, maintains discipline among the operatives and provides input to their performance appraisals.

Report directly to the Production Manager.

Champions cost saving ideas through implementation.

Establish work standards / workflow to comply to stipulate and safety requirements.

5 years experience supervisor role.

Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronics.
