Manufacturing Professional - Materials Planning and Execution will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business. Works with the sales and commercial team, region personnel, AMO and supply chain to translate the demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) across multiple time horizons into physical orders and ensures they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.

As Manufacturing Professional - Materials Planning and Execution, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with Sales and Operations to convert demand plans into executable physical orders, while assessing business trends and their impact on demand forecasting.
  • Analyzing incoming demand to identify order exceptions, alignment gaps with product rationalization strategies, and opportunities to leverage existing inventory.
  • Planning and scheduling order timelines in alignment with customer requirements, while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing shipping costs.
  • Coordinating with Product Line, Sales, and Service Delivery teams to prioritize and adjust delivery schedules (expedites or delays) as required.
  • Conducting material management analyses, including statistical consumption forecasting, aged inventory and purchase order reviews, in-transit material tracking, and safety stock evaluation.
  • Developing and implementing effective inventory stocking strategies.
  • Monitoring safety stock levels, global inventory, and aging inventory, and collaborating with regional teams and manufacturing plants to address any gaps.
  • Working closely with the AMO organization to ensure accurate capture of spare parts and asset demand.
  • Supporting and executing continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and maximize value.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related discipline, or have equivalent experience (minimum 2+ years).
  • Have experience in material planning and scheduling, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand forecasting, inventory optimization and management,
  • Have strong working knowledge of SAP and MRP systems and functionalities.
  • Have the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Have strong strategic thinking capabilities, combined with effective execution skills and a high sense of urgency.
  • Have experience in leading, managing, and developing teams.
  • Have APICS certification (preferred).
  • Have proven people leadership experience-whether through direct reporting, matrix structures, or influence-with demonstrated Leader of Choice behaviors, including driving culture, inspiring teams, delivering results, and maintaining a growth mindset.
