The Process Engineer (Machining) will play a key role in developing and industrializing machining processes for gas turbine component repairs. This includes CNC milling and turning, EDM, lathes, and related machining technologies. The role is responsible for implementing and qualifying new equipment and manufacturing technologies while driving continuous improvement in process capability, productivity, quality, and sustainability.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, industrialize, and optimize machining processes for both new and existing gas turbine repair products.
- Qualify CNC milling/turning, EDM, lathes, and other machining operations to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability, process efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure machining operations consistently meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives.
- Track, analyze, and report machining process performance using relevant KPIs.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve process deviations and improve operational performance.
- Lead quality enhancement and risk reduction initiatives across machining operations.
- Drive productivity and sustainability improvements by minimizing waste and increasing process efficiency.
- Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies and problem-solving tools to address complex manufacturing challenges.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows and eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Provide technical support, guidance, and training to machining operators and technicians.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC machining or related manufacturing processes.
- Experience or knowledge in gas turbine component repair is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with tooling selection, fixture design, CAD/CAM systems, and metrology practices.
