Implement and sustain BD Excellence work processes within the manufacturing unit.Identify critical equipment settings and establish operational standards.Develop technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit (Injection Molding) and transfer this knowledge to operators and technical associates.Coach associates on continuous improvement methodologies.Analyze top losses within the unit and develop plans to eliminate them, driving OEE performance.Manage manufacturing unit change control, including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events/deviations.Participate in manufacturing projects as required.Ensure compliance with Safety and ISO14001 Environmental standards, promoting a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.Observe all safety programs and training to ensure tasks comply with SOPs.Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Education & Experience
Minimum Diploma in Engineering or related field.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience as Process Engineer in an injection molding manufacturing environment, preferably 2 years in medical manufacturing.
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Proficient in Quality Systems, machine design, safety, and ergonomics.
Strong team contributor, customer-focused, and results-driven.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills able to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in data analytics.
Ensure safety of all associates and quality of products.
Drive new manufacturing processes and improvements to meet unit objectives.
Maintain equipment efficiency and effectiveness.
Analyze equipment performance to improve and sustain OEE.
Deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with process effectiveness goals.
Maintain accurate process development data and documentation.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System
