Your Job

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer specializing in Control & Programming to drive smart and efficient manufacturing at Molex Singapore. In this role, you will connect operations with digital and automation technologies, implement MES and digital improvements, and enhance production reliability through strong control and electrical expertise.

Our Team

You will be part of the Datacom & Specialty Solutions Division, collaborating closely with operations, engineering, the global digital team, and external vendors to enable digital transformation and operational excellence.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze MES performance data to identify inefficiencies and improve operational KPIs.
  • Build clear workflow processes and recommend feasible MES/digital improvements.
  • Implement control enhancements that increase efficiency, uptime, and safety.
  • Support communication and adoption of digital tools across teams.
  • Verify MES data accuracy and provide timely electrical/control troubleshooting.
  • Ensure vendor equipment meets electrical/control standards and is productionready.
  • Conduct machine/equipment buy-off to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Develop technicians technical capabilities to boost operational reliability.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and support stable production.
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to resolve process issues related to throughput, quality, and cost.
  • Apply PBM principles to uphold integrity, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • 35 years of experience in control and PLC programming.
  • Handson experience with PLC programming/configuration across platforms.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting machine control systems.
  • Strong problemsolving and datadriven decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge in electrical panel assembly, wiring, and debugging.
  • Ability to troubleshoot integrated systems (robots, lasers, vision systems).
  • Experience with MES systems and production workflow integration.

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience in connector manufacturing.
  • Knowledge in vision systems, AGVs, industrial robots, and laser systems.
  • Experience with connector or cable processing machines.
