Oversee manufacturing activities of the equipment assembly team to meet product delivery, cost and quality objectives.
Drive continuous improvement programmes to improve quality standards and reduce operational costs through effective utilisation of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and capital
Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of Production, Process Engineering team to achieve performance indices on quality, efficiency and costs
Plan, Forecast and manage operation spending budget and expenses
Review manufacturing work procedures / work instructions and operating standards for process
Collaborate closely with the supply chain function and product design team to ensure timely availability of materials and product manufacturability respectively for production
Handle NPI and qualification and oversee on the job training of manufacturing personnel
Maintain excellent safety record and instill good housekeeping practices
Oversee plant facilities department
Requirements:
Degree / Diploma in Engineering discipline
More than 5 years related manufacturing experience, preferably in an automation / equipment assembly environment (Electronic industry)
Strong operational and leadership skills
Knowledge in Lean manufacturing practices, Industry 4.0
Strong in systematic problem-solving skills
Familiar with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 13485 standards and FDA GMP requirement
