Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead and enhance manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving production excellence, improving process efficiency and product quality, overseeing maintenance and facilities management, and leading a team of engineering professionals to achieve operational goals.

Key Information:

  • US MNC | Manufacturing Plant | Mon - Fri: 8am to 5pm
  • Work location in Tuas, 10 mins walking distance from MRT
  • Basic + AWS + Bonus and other benefits
  • Must come from manufacturing environment

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and maintenance technicians
  • Champion workplace health, safety, and risk management across all production activities
  • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance overall performance
  • Analyze production metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Manage new product introductions, including process documentation and staff training
  • Oversee Total Predictive Maintenance programs and support complex equipment troubleshooting
  • Supervise contractors and manage facilities, construction projects, budgets, and long-term energy efficiency plans
  • Prepare and present engineering reports, proposals, and project updates to management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience
  • Strong leadership and ability to manage cross-functional teams
  • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems, and technologies
  • Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
