About the Company

We are partnering with a leading global consumer manufacturing organisation to appoint a senior Manufacturing Excellence Director to lead manufacturing transformation and operational excellence across the APAC region.

About the Role

This role will drive the deployment of world-class operational excellence systems across a complex and fast-evolving manufacturing network representing approximately $6bn in business, 30,000 employees, 40 manufacturing plants , and an additional ecosystem of external manufacturing partners across APAC. The organisation is at a key stage of its manufacturing transformation journey and is seeking a leader capable of elevating operational capability, governance, culture, and performance across multiple factories and markets. This is a highly strategic regional transformation role focused on operational excellence, governance, capability building, PMO leadership, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional deployment of operational excellence and integrated manufacturing systems across APAC manufacturing sites
• Drive large-scale manufacturing transformation initiatives across multiple factories and countries
• Establish governance frameworks, operational routines, KPIs, and continuous improvement systems
• Build operational excellence capability and leadership maturity across the manufacturing network
• Lead change management and cultural transformation initiatives across diverse APAC markets
• Drive structured problem-solving, operational discipline, and performance management routines
• Partner closely with regional operations, engineering, supply chain, digital, and manufacturing leadership teams
• Act as a regional transformation and PMO lead to ensure disciplined execution of strategic manufacturing initiatives

Qualifications

We are seeking a senior manufacturing excellence and transformation leader with strong regional experience gained within leading FMCG or consumer manufacturing organisations.

Required Skills

• Manufacturing Excellence / Integrated Work Systems leadership (IWS)
• TPM / Continuous Improvement leadership
• Lean Manufacturing transformation
• Regional Supply Chain or Operations Excellence leadership

Preferred Skills

Candidates with experience from highly structured global manufacturing organisations will be particularly relevant.

15+ years within manufacturing, operational excellence, supply chain, or industrial transformation environments. Proven experience leading operational excellence transformation across multiple factories and countries.
