Roles & Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To interpret Mechanical Drawings, prepare Bill of Material (B.O.M) for fabrication work and preparation & selection of OEM items

• To generate Process Management Plan (or Production Route Card / Job Traveller)

• To troubleshoot and problem solving of manufacturing process

• To liaise with operation team in technical challenge and manufacture process.

• To provide alternative solution to production on any process problem arises

• To liaise with customer on any kind of technical issue

• Familar with metalworks manufacturing processes, like fabrication & welding, machining like milling, turning, wirecut etc.

• Familiar and able to interpret mechanical drawings & understand requirements

• Able to communicate with production, suppliers & customers

• Able to use Autocad or solidworks software

QUALIFICATION

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification

• Few years working experience in precision engineering field

• Familiar with machining process (milling, turning, EDM or wire cut operation) would be added advantage

• Familiar with metal fabrication processes like welding, sheetmetal work, surface treatment etc

• Mechanical software (AUTOCAD, Solidwork, MasterCAM or UG)

• Proficient with Excel

• Good working attitude, disciplined and systematic

• Entry level candidates may apply for junior position
