Manufacturing Engineer - Special Process

GE Vernova Services Singapore is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer, Special Process to support and improve industrial gas turbine component repair processes, including thermal spraying, heat treatment, and chemical stripping. The role focuses on process qualification, operational support, safety and quality compliance and continuous improvement to achieve business and customer requirements.

What You'll Do

• Support and improve special processes used in gas turbine component repair, including thermal spraying, heat treatment, and chemical stripping

• Conduct process qualification and cross-qualification activities

• Help drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost

• Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and EHS requirements

• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve technical and process issues

• Troubleshoot production challenges using root cause analysis and structured problem solving

• Identify and implement projects that improve process performance and production quality

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering from a recognized university is essential

• At least 3+ years of relevant experience in special processes such as thermal spraying, heat treatment, or chemical processing ideally within manufacturing, aviation or an advanced industrial repair environment is essential

• Familiarity with process qualification, validation, and compliance

• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and quality standards
