Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, and tooling to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities including process planning, fixture design, and production readiness
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturability (DFM)
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement techniques
- Monitor production performance and initiate corrective actions to address bottlenecks or quality concerns
- Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, process flow diagrams, and SOPs
- Support equipment selection, installation, maintenance, and calibration activities
- Analyze downtime and production data to identify areas for automation and efficiency gains
- Lead or support cross-functional projects focused on cost reduction, yield improvement, and cycle time reduction
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related discipline
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of machining processes (e.g., CNC), assembly operations, and production planning
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiar with ERP/MRP systems
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for a Senior Engineer position
