Job Summary
Prepare and manage manufacturing process documentation and coordinate production activities to meet customer specifications and schedules, supporting continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Prepare process routers and work packages from engineering drawings and customer specifications to guide production activities
- Create balloon drawings and identify inspection points from technical drawings to ensure quality control
- Release workorders promptly to align with production schedules and meet customer requirements
- Maintain and update process routers, CNC programs, and drawing revisions to reflect current manufacturing standards
- Coordinate outsourced (farm-out) processes to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to secure timely availability of raw materials and components
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing enhancements to manufacturing efficiency and productivity
Required competencies and certifications
- Understand metal machining processes, process sequencing, heat treatment, and surface coating to support production planning
- Interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and GD&T to ensure accurate manufacturing instructions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to manage documentation and communication
- Knowledge of SAP systems to facilitate production and inventory management
- Demonstrate planning, problem-solving, and coordination skills to manage workflow and resolve production issues
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
