Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products, while optimizing existing processes to enhance quality and effectiveness. Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure the successful integration of new processes. Create comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvement through the application of lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and boost productivity. Analyze production data to uncover trends and areas for enhancement, leading cross-functional problem-solving initiatives. Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements, working closely with the quality team on quality control plans. Provide technical support to production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve process performance. Train and mentor production staff on new processes and best practices, maintaining strong collaborative relationships with equipment vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with expertise in precision machining engineering being advantageous. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment relevant to precision machining engineering. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, preferably SolidWorks and MasterCam, along with familiarity in reading technical drawings and bills of materials (BOM). Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives and applying lean manufacturing principles effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Capacity to perform well under pressure and manage tasks with minimal supervision. Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements pertinent to precision machining engineering.
