Key Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and interpret engineering and stage drawings for aerospace components.
- Interpret and apply GD&T symbols effectively for CNC programming and process planning.
- Create and optimise offline CNC programs using UG NX 7.5 / 8.5 / 10 and above for aero engine and structural components.
- Develop detailed manufacturing process plans, operation sequences, setup sheets, and machining strategies.
- Perform component prove-out on machining centres, turning, turn-mill, and 5-axis machines.
- Read, write, and validate CNC codes, including probing cycles.
- Perform machining simulation using Vericut software to validate programs and prevent machining errors.
- Build and modify basic machine and control models in Vericut.
- Generate, modify, and validate 3D models using NX.
- Optimise programmes and machining techniques to improve cycle time, quality, and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality requirements, standards, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with design, quality, tooling, and shopfloor teams to achieve delivery and quality targets.

Work Experience
Required Skills and Experience
- Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and stage drawings.
- In-depth hands-on knowledge of GD&T applied to CNC programming.
- Mandatory experience in offline CNC programming using UG NX 8.5 / 9 / 10 and above for aerospace components.
- Proven experience in CNC process planning for machining, turning, turn-mill, and 5-axis operations.
- Proficiency in generating and validating 3D models using NX.
- Working knowledge of Vericut for CNC simulation.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter functions will be an added advantage.
- Awareness of aerospace quality requirements and documentation standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
