Aufgabengebiet
Process Ownership & Optimisation
- Lead deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) on manufacturing challenges
- Optimise processes to improve yield, throughput, and cost efficiency
- Evaluate manufacturing methods, materials, and product designs
New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Drive process development and transfer from concept to production
- Design tooling, fixtures, and assembly methods for new products
- Support scale-up into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes
Validation & Compliance
- Lead process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) and equipment qualifications
- Ensure full compliance with ISO13485, GMP, and FDA requirements
- Maintain strong documentation and engineering change control
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Analyse production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Implement lean, data-driven process improvements (DOE, SPC)
- Explore and introduce new technologies and manufacturing methods
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Quality, Operations, Supply Chain)
- Work closely with leadership to align engineering with business goals
Anforderungsprofil- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials or similar)
- At least 5 years in high-volume manufacturing environments
- Strong background in:
- Process engineering & optimisation
- Root cause analysis (RCA)
- DOE, SPC, process capability
- Experience in extrusion (polymer / tubing)
- Familiarity with:
- ISO13485 / GMP / FDA
- Process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ, FMEA, etc.)
