Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a self-initiated and highly organized Manufacturing & Distribution Supply Chain Manager to oversee warehouse operations and support our key retail customers, suppliers and sales merchandising team in the retail supermarket, ship chandelling and food service sectors. This role combines logistics coordination, inventory management, and demand and supply matching collaboration with both internal and external partners/ stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory and Operation Management:

  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse in compliance with health, safety, and bizSAFE Level 3 and GMP standards for food products
  • Conduct regular inventory audits, address discrepancies, and ensure products are stocked according to demand & supply matching
  • Manage inventory control processes, including stock levels, order fulfilment, product rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and preventing stockouts
  • Supervise daily operations to ensure efficient storage, picking, packing, and shipping of both ambient and frozen products

Logistics & Partner/Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, distributors, and third party logistics partners for the retail supermarket, ship chandelling and food service sectors
  • Coordinate with all partners to ensure on-time delivery and fulfilment of orders, keeping our sales and merchandising team informed about delivery schedules and shipping status
  • Collaborate with the internal sales and merchandising team to align warehouse operations with our key customers needs, product launches, and promotional timelines
  • Support our sales and merchandising team to meet the Sales Performance KPI

Team Leadership & Supervision:

  • Foster a positive values and collaborative team environment, emphasizing communication, efficiency, and safety
  • Allocate tasks and manage workflow to prioritize client orders, stock replenishment, and operational efficiency
  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that operational goals are met and maintained consistently
  • Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and ensure continuous training on warehouse processes, safety standards

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing & distribution environment with a mix of demand and supply side partner exposure
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships professionally with all partners/stakeholders
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (esp. SAP B1) is highly desired.
