Manufacturing Buyer (Agile & ERP System User)

My clients are leading global companies and the largest companies in the world dedicated to industrial automation and information. They are an American company founded over 100 years ago and employ approximately 26,000 people worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze materials requirements and planning reports
- Perform day-to-day purchasing functions
- Monitor Supplier Change Requests for assigned commodities
- Expedite supply when required to ensure on-time shipment
- Maintain and update the company MRP
- Review reports and power BI dashboards to drive actions
- Resolve any issues causing non-conformances
- Managing PPV, ensuring on time delivery, line-item fill rate and resolving RMA issues in a timely manner
- Negotiate PO terms and conditions as part of vendor improvement process
- Ability to validate freight costs and releasing international shipments
skills & experience required
- Degree / Diploma equivalent
- Min 3 years of experience in demand/inventory planning
- Min 3 years purchasing or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience in electronics, computers, metal, and plastics commodities will be a plus
- Understand US customs import duties and exemptions
- Agile and ERP system users preferred, advanced in Excel and Sharepoint (preferred)
- Able to commence immediately or within short notice period
