Key responsibilities
Analyze materials requirements and planning reports
Perform day-to-day purchasing functions
Monitor Supplier Change Requests for assigned commodities
Expedite supply when required to ensure on-time shipment
Maintain and update the company MRP
Review reports and power BI dashboards to drive actions
Resolve any issues causing non-conformances
Managing PPV, ensuring on time delivery, line-item fill rate and resolving RMA issues in a timely manner
Negotiate PO terms and conditions as part of vendor improvement process
Ability to validate freight costs and releasing international shipments
skills & experience required
Degree / Diploma equivalent
Min 3 years of experience in demand/inventory planning
Min 3 years purchasing or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong experience in electronics, computers, metal, and plastics commodities will be a plus
Understand US customs import duties and exemptions
Agile and ERP system users preferred, advanced in Excel and Sharepoint (preferred)
Able to commence immediately or within short notice period
