Manufacturing & Repair Engineer (precision/manufacturing)

What you'll be doing

• Drive aero-engine component repairs, from developing processes and designing tooling to ensuring OEM compliance.

• Lead technical recommendations, prepare FAIs, and manage new machine/process qualifications.

• Champion process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives while handling other engineering tasks as needed, all within safety standards.

• Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure consistent high-quality output

• Design and optimize tooling, fixtures, and equipment to enhance productivity and product quality

• Provide technical support and training to production staff to maintain high standards

• Monitor and report on key manufacturing metrics to drive continuous improvement

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for process improvements

What we're looking for

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering role, preferably in the precision/aerospace engineering industry

• Possess experience in special processes such as heat treatment, welding is an advantage.

• Proven track record in developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes and procedures

• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Proficient in the use of CAD/CAM software and data analysis tools
