What you'll be doing
Drive aero-engine component repairs, from developing processes and designing tooling to ensuring OEM compliance.
Lead technical recommendations, prepare FAIs, and manage new machine/process qualifications.
Champion process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives while handling other engineering tasks as needed, all within safety standards.
Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure consistent high-quality output
Design and optimize tooling, fixtures, and equipment to enhance productivity and product quality
Provide technical support and training to production staff to maintain high standards
Monitor and report on key manufacturing metrics to drive continuous improvement
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for process improvements
What we're looking for
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering role, preferably in the precision/aerospace engineering industry
Possess experience in special processes such as heat treatment, welding is an advantage.
Proven track record in developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes and procedures
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient in the use of CAD/CAM software and data analysis tools
