We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester with experience in the banking sector to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our banking applications through thorough testing and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases (manual) to ensure the quality of software applications in the banking sector.
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Perform regression testing to verify that previously developed and tested software still performs after a change.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Prepare test reports and documentation for management and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in manual testing, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of banking applications and their functionalities.
• Proficient in test case design and execution.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
